2nd Avenue (formerly ETC 2nd Avenue) is a Philippine cable television produced and founded by Solar Entertainment Corporation which also created its sister stations, ETC, Crime/Suspense, Jack TV, BTV and Solar Sports. It carries a schedule of mostly newer broadcast and cable dramas and sitcoms imported from the United States, along with infotainment programming from that country in the daytime hours.

As of January 1, 2008, 2nd Avenue ceased to air over SkyCable. However, it is still available over RJTV 29 (Channel 19 on SkyCable). [ But since May, 2nd Avenue is now shown on UHF 29. 2nd Avenue (formerly ETC 2nd Avenue) is a general entertainment channel in the Philippines, owned by Solar Entertainment Corporation. ETC 2nd Avenue launched December 15, 2005 and started test broadcasts.

Move to free TV

On the first day of 2008, 2nd Avenue made its debut on RJTV 29 and selected cities nationwide. However at certain times of the week, RJTV pre-empts some 2nd Avenue shows to air its own shows.
