Roman Catholic Diocese of Ballarat

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Ballarat (Latin: "Dioecesis Ballaratensis") is an ecclesiastical territory, or diocese, in Victoria, Australia. Since 1997, the Bishop of Ballarat has been Peter Joseph Connors.

The diocese was erected on March 30, 1874, with territory from the Diocese of Melbourne. The diocese is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Melbourne.
