Lolita Files

Lolita Files is a contemporary African-American author of several novels. Her most popular books include "Scenes from a Sistah" and "Child of God". Files was formerly the National Communications Director for KinderCare Learning Centers. Files has a degree in Broadcast Journalism. She resides in Los Angeles, CA. Rap artist Kanye West is currently optioning her fourth novel "Child of God" as an upcoming feature film. Files' sixth novel, "Sex.Lies.Murder.Fame." was optioned for film in November 2006 by Carolyn Folks for Entertainment Studios.

Her novella, "Three For The Road," featured in the anthology, "You Only Get Better", a collection of three novellas by Files, Connie Briscoe, and Anita Bunkley, was published in March 2007. The paperback of "sex.lies.murder.fame." was published in May 2007.
