Angela Lindvall (born January 14 1979), is an American model and actress.

Biography

Career

Born in Midwest City, Oklahoma to Randall Lindvall(a pharmacist) and Laura Rasdall (a medtech & massage therapist), she was raised in Lee's Summit, Missouri and attended Lee's Summit High School. She grew in to cm|3 from 13 to 14, and her friends suggested that she try modeling. Her sister, Michelle, was the one who wanted to be a model, Angela was a tomboy-climbing trees and playing with frogs, but went with Michelle. While doing a local Kansas City fashion show for Hoffman International, at age 14, a talent scout spotted her and she signed with IMG. Kim Hoffman, head of Hoffman International was instrumental in getting Angela into a modeling career, she gave her father Randall a discount on modeling classes because of what she saw in Angela. As a young teenager she was a big fan of Marilyn Monroe. Lindvall has appeared on the cover of several magazines such as "ELLE", "Harper's Bazaar", "Marie Claire", "Numero", "Vogue", "I-D" and "W". She is also an ardent environmentalist and vegetarian and is the founder and president of the "Collage Foundation", an organization promoting sustainability and environmentally conscious choices among young people. She was named "Best Dressed Environmentalist" in 2004 and 2005 by the Sustainable Style Foundation.

As an actress, Lindvall has appeared in "CQ" (2001) and "Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang" (2005). She can also be seen in the DKNY promotional films "New York Stories" (2003) and "DKNY Road Stories" (2004).

She is currently the face of Spanish high-street store Zara, and is featured in their Spring/Summer '07 Campaign.

Lindvall will appear in the upcoming 2008 horror film "Pearblossom" alongside Scout Taylor-Compton".

Family

She currently has two sons, William Dakota (b.2002) and Sebastian (b.2005).

Angela is the sister to the late model Audrey Lindvall. On August 2, 2006, Audrey Lindvall, an IMG model, was struck and killed by a truck in Lee's Summit, Missouri, while out on a bicycle ride with a friend.
