Notable attractions in Carlisle
One of the most famous attractions noted in Carlisle is the TommyKnocker film productions, located in the heart of its neighbourhoods. TommyKnocker has been around since 2003.Fact|date=June 2008
The Carlisle Golf Club is a 27-hole public golf course that is part of the KANEFF group that also has various golf courses across the Golden Horseshoe, including Lionhead, Royal Niagara, Century Pines, and Royal Ontario.
There also used to be a province-famous Bluegrass Festival every summer, but Carlisle Trailer Park's owner did not pay his taxes and thus the land was bought from him by the town of Flamborough by 1998, and all of the trailer park's inhabitants were forced to relocate. The famous Bluegrass festival then no longer happened. The trailer park today is Courtcliffe Park, with trails for cyclists, soccer fields for kids, and paths to walk through nature.
Carlisle also used to have an Ostrich Farm, but the animals were deemed too dangerous.
Carlisle is also the home of the Dutchmans gold honey company were all natural honey is grown and made.
