UEFA Cup Winners' Cup 1971–72

The season 1971-72 of the Cup Winners' Cup football club tournament was won by Rangers F.C. in a final victory against FC Dynamo Moscow for their only European trophy.

Preliminary Game

1The second leg was 3-2 to Sporting after 90 minutes and 4-3 to Sporting after extra time. The referee incorrectly ordered a penalty shootout which Sporting won 3-0; UEFA later ruled that Rangers had won on away goals.
