Emrys James (
1 September 1930 -5 February 1989 ), was a WelshShakespeare anactor . He also performed in manytheatre andTV parts between 1960 and 1989, and was an Associate Artist of theRoyal Shakespeare Company . He was born inMachynlleth , the son of a railwayman, and attended theUniversity of Wales, Aberystwyth . In 1958, he married the novelist Sian James.
