St. John's Lutheran Church (Petersburg, Ohio)

St. John's Lutheran Church was a small Lutheran church founded in Petersburg, Ohio, United States in the latter part of the 19th century by people in the area of Mahoning County's Springfield Township. Most citizens of Petersburg were of German descent from colonial Pennsylvania. The first Church was built on High Street until the new Church was built on Youngstown-Pittsburgh Road years later. The old church was left to ruin and eventually caved in by 1970. The new St. John's Lutheran Church is still in operation.
