She is named after her ancestor Henry Winslow Corbett, an Oregon pioneer and United States Senator.Early life
Raised primarily by her mother in
Los Angeles andPortland, Oregon , Corbett has been acting since childhood. One of her first public roles was that of Dick Deadeye, in the operetta, "HMS Pinafore ." Corbett attendedThe Catlin Gabel School through middle and high school, followed by 2 years at the acting conservatory atSUNY Purchase .Projects
Corbett has participated in the Haven Project, a Portland, OR program that partners disadvantaged youth with professional actors. Each child/ actor team receives a two person original script, written for that child. Together, they block, rehearse and perform the piece.
