Danny Mills (actor)

Danny Mills is known for his prominent role in the classic cult film "Pink Flamingos", directed by John Waters.cite web|url=http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0589953/|title=Danny Mills|publisher=IMDb|accessdate=2008-09-08] Because of his film role for John Waters, he is considered one of the Dreamlanders, Waters' ensemble of regular cast and crew members.

In the film, Mills plays the role of Crackers, the lewd delinquent son of Babs Johnson, played by Divine.

Mills is noted for having a mane of dark brown hair, a missing front tooth, pallid skin, brown eyes and a slender frame. Mills complied with Waters' controversial script, performing a sex scene with a chicken and Cookie Mueller and also receiving fellatio from Divine, pleading "Do my balls mama!"

As stated in the book "My Son Divine" by Frances Milstead, Steve Yeager and Kevin Heffernan, on the set of "Pink Flamingos" Mills is also noted for having inserted a dye bottle full of water in a dog's anus to produce excrement, which Divine would later eat in the film's final dose of "shock value".

"Pink Flamingos" is the only film in which Mills ever starred. However, he was also featured in the 1976 documentary about Edith Massey, "Edith's Shopping Bag" and the 1998 documentary about John Waters' films, "Divine Trash".

Mills currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland.
