He later emigrated to the United States and became captain of his adopted nation. He played two further first-class games in the 2004ICC Intercontinental Cup . Staple led the United States to victory in the ICC Six Nations Challenge in 2004, which saw the Americans qualify for the2004 ICC Champions Trophy in England. Staple and his teammates fared poorly against the New Zealanders and Australians as the Americans lost their first two officialOne Day International s by a wide margin. Staple plays his domestic cricket for the Progressive Cricket Club in the New York Metropolitan Cricket League.References
