The Grand Rapids Flight are a team in the International Basketball League based in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The Flight recently underwent several front office changes. The team is now primarily owned by IBL founder and Commissioner Mikal Duilio. The team's new General Manager and Head Coach is David Fox. Staying on as a minority owner and Director of Basketball Operations is Tyler Whitcomb.

On the court, the team was a solid success in 2006, reaching the Final Four.

The Grand Rapids Flight currently hold the record for most points scored in a single game, after a 179-146 drubbing of the Des Moines Heat.

The Flight made news by signing 7'9" basketball player Sun Ming Ming.

For the 2008 season, the Flight will be playing home games at the DeltaPlex Arena. The DeltaPlex seats up to 4,400 for basketball. The Flight cited an upturn in attendance for this move [Ungrey, Steve. "Pro basketball team finds home at DeltaPlex." mLive.com:Everything Michigan. 28 Jan. 2008. Grand Rapids Press. 28 Jan 2008 .] .The Flight no longer play at the DeltaPlex due to a very low average attendance of a little over 100 people per game, they currently play at The Courthouse in Byron Center. The Grand Rapids Flight are unrelated to the former basketball team that played in Grand Rapids, the Grand Rapids Hoops.
