Brodsworth ,South Yorkshire ,England currently playing in theNorthern Counties East Football League Premier Division . The Club were formed as Brodsworth Main, changing their name to Brodsworth Miners Welfare in 1963 and again to Brodsworth Welfare in 2006.*fchd|name=Brodsworth Welfare|id=BRODSWMW]Brodsworth joined the Yorkshire League in 1921, finishing 3rd at the first attempt. Brodsworth were league champions in 1925. They left in 1931, returning a year later but left again in 1935. Brodsworth returned to the Yorkshire League in 1947 and in 1951 they were relegated to the recently created Division 2. Brodsworth left the league again in 1957, returning in 1961. Brodsworth won promotion to Division 1 in 1964, but were relegated after one season. They were relegated to division 3 in 1972. Brodsworth left the Yorkshire League for the final time in 1976.
After playing in the Doncaster Senior League, Brodsworth joined the Northern Counties East League in 1988, playing in division 2. The league scrapped Division 2 in 1991 and Brodsworth moved up to Division 1. Broddy finished in the bottom 2 every year until 1997 but in 1999 they won promotion to the Premier Division. They finished 6th at the first attempt.
In the FA Cup, Brodsworth Main reached the 4th Qualifying Round in 1926-27, drawing 4-4 with Mexborough before losing the replay 1-2. In the FA Vase, Broddy reached the 2nd Round in 1997-98,losing to Kidsgrove Athletic.
Brodsworth won the Sheffield Junior Cup in 1984.
