Tugu , village north ofJakarta , by descendants of 17th century Portuguese travelers.It is a
creole language similar to the Papiá Kristang ofMalacca . The language was spoken until the 1940s, and the last speaker died in 1978. The language now survives only in the lyrics of old songs of the genre "Keroncong Moresco " or "Keroncong Tugu ".External links
