- Anacleteria
Anacleteria, in antiquity, were feasts celebrated in honor of kings and
prince s, when they took upon them the administration of their state, and made a solemn declaration thereof to the people. This is synonymous with the modern daycoronation .The term was also used of celebrations for kings coming of age.
The word is formed of the Greek "ανα", and "καλέω" ("voco", "I call").
