Lea Hernandez (born
11 March 1964 ) is an Americancomic book andwebcomic creator who usually draws in a Japanese-influenced style. She is the co-creator of "Killer Princesses " withGail Simone (published byOni Press ), and the creator of "Rumble Girls " (published byImage Comics ). She has also worked forMarvel Comics andDC Comics with, for example, "" and "Transmetropolitan ". She has published her webcomics onModern Tales and was the original editor ofGirlamatic . Her webcomics include "Atelier Divalea ".Apart from her comic publications, Hernandez has written several short stories for thematic collections of
science fiction and fantasy. She was a vice president for General Products USA (the U.S. marketing arm ofGainax ) from 1989–1990 [http://www.cjas.org/~leng/lainspotting/2006/03/pre-web-anime-fandom-out-of-archives-4.html] and was briefly a guest editor for "Wizard" [http://www.sequentialtart.com/archive/mar03/leahernandez.shtml] .On the morning of
