John Stevens (immigrant)

John Stevens (1682 - 1737), who immigrated to America at age 17, invested in land, married the wealthy Ann Campbell, and became Port Collector at Perth Amboy. He was one of the thirteen original patentees of the Kayaderosseras tract, near Lake George, New York.
