Jean-Yves Béziau

Jean-Yves Béziau (born January 15, 1965 in Orléans, France) is an assistant professor and researcher at the Institute of Logic of the University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland. A former student of (and frequent collaborator with) Newton da Costa, he works in the field of logic—in particular, paraconsistent logic and universal logic. He holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of São Paulo and a PhD in Logic and Foundations of Computer Science from the University of Paris 7.
