Frank Endacott

Frank Endacott

Frank Morris Endacott, ONZM widely known as 'Happy Frank', is a popular rugby league coach from New Zealand.

He started coaching Canterbury provincial sides in New Zealand before becoming involved with the Auckland Warriors, coaching the reserve side in the club's debut year in 1995. He continued with this role until John Monie was sacked as head coach halfway through the 1997 Superleague season. He was the head coach of the Warriors for the rest of 1997 and 1998, leaving after the club was sold.

Frank joined Wigan Warriors after the 1999 season and went on to coach them until 2001. He was sacked and replaced with Stuart Raper; he then coached Widnes Vikings until their relegation from Super League in 2005 after a hugley disappointing season of under achieving.

He also coached the New Zealand Kiwis from 1994-2000 and is a well known player agent, bringing many of his own players to Widnes, for them only to take advantage of the club and fans.
