KNOE-TV, Channel 8, is the CBS affiliate for Monroe, Louisiana. The station is owned by Hoak Media Corporation.

KNOE-TV, along with former sister stations KNOE-FM 101.9 and KNOE-AM 540, were founded by James Albert Noe, Sr. KNOE-TV signed on in in 1953, long after his 5-month term as governor of Louisiana.

KNOE's analog and digital transmitters are located south of Monroe in Columbia, Louisiana. They also operate a low-powered translator station, K18AB Channel 18, in El Dorado, Arkansas.

The station also operates a CW affiliate for the Monroe market via The CW Plus, available on cable and on KNOE's digital subchannel.

KNOE-TV has won numerous state, regional and national journalism awards, including the 2008 Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University Award for News Director Taylor Henry's investigative series on rogue members of the Louisiana National Guard who looted stores they were deployed to protect during Katrina.
