He is best known for his work in the American dubs of Japanese anime cartoon series, such as Yû yû hakusho, Blue Gender, and Dragon Ball Z.
Ford was raised in Bedford, Texas, and Longview, Texas. He studied Theatre Arts at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Upon his return to Texas, he lent his vocal talents to the Radio Disney Network for several years.
He is currently known as the voice of "Buck, the Animated Trophy" - a novelty item released by Gemmy Industries.
Ford now resides in North Richland Hills, Texas with his wife and three children.

- He is a direct descendant of Robert Bruce Cotton, 1st Baronet and frontiersman Daniel Boone.
- Attended WKU with Michael Rosenbaum, where both were Theatre majors and friends. They appeared together in a stage performance of Chekhov's The Seagull.
- Unusually, his legal name is "Clint", not "Clinton".
