The Shark is an FM radio station in the Seacoast Region of New Hampshire, United States. It is simulcast on WSAK (102.1 MHz; Hampton, NH) and WSHK (105.3 MHz; Kittery, Maine), with broadcast studios located in Dover, NH [cite web|url=http://www.shark1053.com/contactus.asp|title=The Shark – Contact Us|accessdate=2008-05-29] . The station's program format is almost exclusively classic rock. A few specialty programs are carried: The House of Blues Radio Hour with Dan "Elwood Blues" Aykroyd [cite web|url=http://www.thebluesmobile.com/briefcase/affiliate.shtml|title=HOB Affiliate Radio Stations|accessdate=2008-05-29] , and "The Reporter's File", a public affairs program, both on Sundays. The station was previously the only NH station to carry the syndicated Bob & Tom Show morning show. It no longer carries that program, instead using its own local DJs in the morning.

The station is owned by Citadel Broadcastingcite web|url=http://www.citadelbroadcasting.com/citadel_broadcasting.aspx?call=WSHK|title=Citadel Station Search – WSHK|accessdate=2008-05-29] . It formerly broadcast as "Arrow", on the same frequencies and with a similar format, but using call letters WXBB and WXBP. The change to the new name and call was made in March 2000 [cite web|url=http://www.bostonradio.org/nerw/nerw-000303.html|title=North East RadioWatch|date=2000-03-03|accessdate=2008-05-29|author=Scott Fybush] . Citadel acquired the station in August 1999 when it purchased Fuller-Jeffrey Broadcasting Companies [cite web|url=http://sec.edgar-online.com/1999/12/03/11/0000950128-99-001163/Section2.asp|title=Citadel 8-K/A SEC Filing|date=1999-12-03|accessdate=2008-05-29] .
