Sylvestra Le Touzel is a British television, film and stage actress who was born on Jersey in the Channel Islands.

TV

Her first television role was as one of the children who bedevil the Second Doctor and his companions in the 'Land of Fiction', as part of the "Doctor Who" story "The Mind Robber".

She has also been seen on the small screen in shows as diverse as "Dixon of Dock Green", "The Brontes of Haworth", "The Uninvited", "The Professionals", "Lovejoy", "Alas Smith and Jones", "Midsomer Murders", "My Family" and "The Long Walk to Finchley" (as Patricia Hornsby-Smith). One of her well known roles was that of Fanny Price in the BBC's 1983 dramatisation of Jane Austen's "Mansfield Park". In 2007, she also played the of Mrs. Allen in the ITV adaptation of "Northanger Abbey".

Film

While film appearances have been few and far between, she played Marianne Thornton in the 2006 film "Amazing Grace" and appeared in "Happy-Go-Lucky".

Personal life

Her brother, Joshua Le Touzel, is also an actor. She is married to actor Owen Teale and has two children.
