Lara McAllen - chart vocalist, singer/songwriter, vocal producer

Lara McAllen (born 30th October 1983) is the singer for the pop/dance music project Angel City. She began dancing at age 5, was a model briefly before becoming a backing dancer for the pop singer Shakira at 19. She then pursued her career as a dance music singer with Angel City when she signed her first recording contract with Ministry of Sound at age 20. Lara was originally featured as a guest vocalist and later joined the group as the lead singer on all the tracks on the debut album "Love Me Right". As lead vocalist, Lara had UK Top 10 records with Angel City before beginning further work both producing vocals and writing. Lara is a partner of the production company with business partners who she has known since 2000 and produced with the likes of like Jason Nevins, Rob Davis (Kylie)and Armin Van Buuren. She has also presented for various Sky Channels on programmes like FYC as well as featuring on TV shows such as Never Mind the Buzzcocks, CD:UK, Des and Mel and performing her debut single Love Me Right on Top of the Pops.

Having claimed that she was happier away from the performance side, Lara is currently producing and writing a new Angel City track with Ministry of Sound due for release in Early 2008 which it is assumed she will front. New releases feature on 2008 Clubland Albums (new signing with All Around the World)written by McAllen, also due for full single release.

Voted the Sexiest Euro-Dance Music Artist in the World by Internet Users, she has appeared in many 'Lads' Mags including Loaded, Maxim, Nuts and Zoo Magazine.
