"Alive 2" is the third full-length live album and second full-length live DVD from the band Anthrax. This features the reunion of their Among the Living-era line-up, including former vocalist Joey Belladonna and former guitarist Dan Spitz. This release features songs from the band's Joey Belladonna-sung studio output, and the Neil Turbin era, but without any songs from the John Bush era. The songs included on the disc are taken from Fistful of Metal, their very first release, up until 1990's Persistence of Time.

Unlike the band's previous live release, Music of Mass Destruction, the CD and DVD versions of Alive 2 are sold separately. The CD is referred to as "Alive 2: The Music" and the DVD is referred to as "Alive 2: The DVD".

This album would be the last non-compilation release featuring Joey Belladonna and Dan Spitz, who both left the band following the end of Anthrax's reunion tour.
