Thompson Municipal Airport Airport codes|YTH|CYTH is an airport located convert|3|NM|abbr=on|lk=in north of Thompson, Manitoba, Canada. It is the third busiest airport in Manitoba after Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport and Winnipeg/St. Andrews Airport

History

Thompson Airport is located 6 mi (9.7 km) northwestFact|date=August 2008 of the City of Thompson. It was developed originally by the International Nickel Company in 1961 to support their mining operations and had one runway convert|3000|ft|abbr=on|0 in length.

The Airport was transferred to Transport Canada in 1963. It has since been operated by the Local Government District of Mystery Lake, and in March 2000 ownership was taken over by the Thompson Regional Airport Authority.

The Airport is served by Calm Air and Perimeter Aviation with flights to Winnipeg.
