Peter John Dale (born 1938) is a British poet and translator.

Peter dale was born in Addlestone, Surrey in 1938. He was the associate editor and later co-editor of "Agenda". He was Head of English at Hinchley Wood School and has published many collections of verse. His other books include translations of François Villon, Jules Laforgue, and Dante, and "An Introduction to Rhyme."
