Palm Beach County, Florida . Its present western terminus is an intersection with US 441 (SR 7) near Boca West; its eastern terminus is an intersection with Federal Highway (U.S. Route 1-SR 5) in Boca Raton.State Road 808 is a major commuter route connecting the four major north-south arteries of Palm Beach County: Interstate 95/SR 9,
Florida's Turnpike /SR 91, US 1/SR 5, and US 441/SR 7. In addition, it serves as a terminus for two other State Roads (SR 845 and SR 809). Near the eastern terminus of SR 808 are the main campus ofFlorida Atlantic University and the runways ofBoca Raton Airport (the terminal of which can be accessed "via" Northwest Spanish River Boulevard (SR 800) 1.2 miles to the north of SR 808).Planned Extension Into Broward County
West of US 441, Glades Road continues and turns southward, becoming University Drive (without a State designation), terminating at Palmetto Park Road. According to maps published by Fort Lauderdale-based Dolph Map Company, an extension of the small segment of University Drive has been proposed to connect to the present-day University Drive (State Road 817) in Broward County. No indication is given of whether the extension would be a state or county road or what number designation it would have if any.
