Hudson Yards Redevelopment Project
- Hudson Yards Redevelopment Project
The Hudson Yards Redevelopment Project is a New York City and Metropolitan Transportation Authority proposal to encourage business development on Manhattan's far West Side along the Hudson River. Originally, the plan was to have the New York Jets build a stadium over the MTA's Caemmerer railyard. That stadium would have also been used for the 2012 Summer Olympics, had New York been selected to host. The stadium project failed to receive state approval. The project may also include a West Chelsea Promenade, and a 7 Subway Extension to 11th Avenue.
