Johan Rodríguez

Johan Rubén Rodríguez Álvarez (born August 15, 1975 in Monterrey, Nuevo León) is a retired Mexican midfielder, who played for Cruz Azul, Santos, Necaxa, Monarcas and lastly Queretaro FC. Johan Rodríguez made his football debut in 1996 with Cruz Azul but it was not until he was sent to play for Santos that he had major opportunities to demonstrate his playing capacity. He played with the national team in his first World Cup in 2002. However, after 6 months out injured and not having kicked a ball, he found it impossible to find a new club and decided to concentrate on his private businesses.
