Azimpur ,Dhaka ,Bangladesh . It was established in1957 by the Welfare Association of Government Employees. In 1999 the school had an enrollment of some 2,700 students and a faculty of 82. Besides their impressive results on public examinations, the institution is also known for their cultural activities. It regularly hosts educational events likeBangladesh Mathematics Olympiad andBhasha Protijog . It celebrated it’s Golden Jubilee and reunion in 2007. cite news

date =6 April 2007 ]Some intellectuals decided to introduce a high school for girls in 1956, the school started their classes on January 16, 1957. First Head Master Kazi Ambor Ali worked as an influential character in developing the school. In 1995, Azimpur Girls’ College was established on the school campus. Both school and college have united into a single institution in 1999.
Currently it has nearly 2,800 students and 71 teachers in total. Current Principal is Hosne Ara Begum. Property of the institution includes a building, a large playground and a residence for the principal.
