Davood Azad (born October 6, 1963 in Urmia, Iran) is an Iranian singer and a prominent master of Iranian classical music and Azeri folk music.[1][2]
He is an ethnic Iranian Azeri and has accomplished multi-instrumentalist and vocalist. Mastering in the Iranian classical music, the Azeri folk music, the Ancient Persian music, and the Persian Sufi music.
In his recent work " The Divan of Rumi & Bach", Davod Azad joins Iranian Traditional music with Bach's famous melodies.
