Benito Garozzo (born
September 5 ,1927 inNaples ,Italy ) is one of the most famous bridge players in the history of the game. He has won 13 world championship titles with the Italian Blue Team, playing withPietro Forquet and laterGiorgio Belladonna . Garozzo created theBlue Club bidding system , and devised an advanced version ofPrecision Club , called "Super-precision." Garozzo became aUnited States citizen in January 1994.Awards
