Alan Halsall

Alan David Halsall (born 11 August 1982) is an English actor best known for his role in "Coronation Street" playing Tyrone Dobbs, who first appeared in November 1998.

He was raised in Walkden, [http://archive.thisislancashire.co.uk/2002/2/11/634686.html] [http://archive.lancashireeveningtelegraph.co.uk/2000/2/21/740148.html] , Salford, Greater Manchester, and attended Walkden High School. Though Alan did not excel in traditional subjects, such as mathematics, he did prove to have above average ability in drama.

He has also had roles in "Heartbeat", "Hetty Wainthropp Investigates" and "Queer As Folk" (1999)

He is currently engaged to fellow Coronation Street actress, Lucy-Jo Hudson. The pair began dating in 2005 [http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/showbiz/a82730/lucy-jo-hudson-wants-low-key-wedding.html] .
