Little Italy

Little Italy is a general name for an ethnic enclave populated primarily by Italians or people of Italian ancestry, usually in an urban neighborhood.

Other uses

In the Leslie Nielsen TV series "Police Squad" and film series "The Naked Gun", the creators usually managed to work in a reference to the police car supposedly driving through the "Little Italy" section of the city. Invariably the scene would be accompanied by a rear-projected shot of the Roman Colosseum.
