KNME is a television station based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is a PBS station, and broadcasts on channels 5, 9 (call letters KNMD) and 35 that produces high quality documentaries, shorts and weekly television series.

KNME also operates the satellite service WestLink ( [http://www.knmetv.org/about_us/westlink.php3] ), which shares programming with other public television stations and several commercial clients. Satellite interviews from New Mexico on news networks like CNN often originate at KNME.

TALNET

KNME also operates TALNET, the educational access cable channel for Albuquerque. It broadcasts a mix of PBS programming and local school board meetings on Comcast cable channel 96 in Albuquerque.

TALNET's name is an acronym for Teach and Learn Network.
