Sinop, Mato Grosso

Sinop (coord|11.85|S|55.46|W|) is a city in the Mato Grosso state of Brazil. The city was founded in 1974 and has become one of the most important cities in the state. The city has a population of 100,000 ^{[http://www.brazil.studyintl.com/states/matogrosso/cities/sinop.htm]} , and lies 330 miles north of the state capital Cuiabá.
