Single Award Science

Single Award Science

In the United Kingdom, Single Award Science refers to a General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) syllabus where a pupil studies the three sciences of biology, chemistry and physics as one combined subject. Taught time is usually about three hours per week, and a pupil "cannot" progress to an A Level in a science subject if this is the science option chosen at GCSE.
