Teppei Teranishi (born September 13 1980) is the lead guitarist and keyboardist of the post-hardcore band Thrice from Orange County, California. He favors Gibson Les Paul guitars and Fender Telecasters among others. He is also in a side project called Black Unicorn with his friend Chris Jones. At a young age, he began to learn classical guitar. He listened to many heavy metal bands such as Pantera and Megadeth. Eventually, he moved onto the punk scene. Teppei is also a Beatles fanatic.
