On July 29, 2007, Allison appeared as a guest-star on the Lifetime Network original series "State of Mind".Her husband is Randall Grimmitt, a lawyer who is a vice president of ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers). They have been married since June 23, 2001 and have two daughters.
