Regional Cadet Support Unit (Eastern)

The Regional Cadet Support Unit (Eastern) (RCSU(E)) is the Canadian Forces unit that is responsible for providing support to the Canadian Cadet Organizations (Royal Canadian Sea, Army, and Air Cadets) within the province of Québec, Canada. By French-Canadian and other Francophones, the unit is known as the Unité régionale de soutien aux cadets (Est) or l'URSC (Est).

The RCSU Eastern is a sub-unit of Land Forces Quebec Area (or Section Québec Force Terreste) of the Canadian Forces. =Purpose of the RCSU(E)=

There are six Regional Cadet Support Units in Canada. They are:

* Regional Cadet Support Unit (Altantic) - Supporting the Cadet Organizations within the provinces of New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland and Labrador. The commanding officer is Commander Patrick T. Charlton, O.M.M., C.D., and the unit is a sub-unit Maritime Forces Altantic;
* Regional Cadet Support Unit (Eastern) - Supporting the Cadet Organizations within the Province of Québec and the Ottawa Valley Air Cadets units.
* Regional Cadet Support Unit (Central) - Supporting the Cadet Organizations within the Province of Ontario. The unit a sub-unit of Land Forces Central Area.
* Regional Cadet Support Unit (Prairie) - Supporting the Cadet Organizations within the Provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Northern Ontario. The unit is commanded by LCol Miligan.
* Regional Cadet Support Unit (Pacific) - Supporting the Cadet Organizations within the Province of British Columbia. It is commanded by Commander Roderick Hughes CD, and is a sub-unit of Maritime Forces Pacific.
* Regional Cadet Support Unit (Northern) - Supporting the Cadet Organizations within the northern Canadian Territories of the Yukon, the Northwest Territories, and Nunavut. The unit is commanded by Major L.P. Binette, CD.

RCSU(E) is commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Mario Albert, CD.

=Cadet Summer Training Centres=

RCSU Eastern also responsible for the organisation and distribution of the following Cadet Summer Training Centres:

* Sea Cadet Summer Training Centre HMCS QUÉBEC
* Army Cadet Summer Training Centre Valcartier
* Army Cadet Summer Training Centre Cap-Chat
* Air Cadet Summer Training Centre Bagotville
* Regional Cadet Music School (Eastern)
* Eastern Region Gliding School

=Regional Cadet Instructor School (Eastern)= RCIS(E) is the training school for officers of the Cadet Instructor Cadre within the Eastern Region. There are RCIS in every region of the cadet movement: including:

* RCIS (Altantic)
* RCIS (Eastern) - however, known in French as l'École régionale des instructeurs des cadets (Est)
* RCIS (Central)
* RCIS (Prairie)
* RCIS (Pacific)
