Naitasiri is a Province of
Fiji . It is one of the country's fourteen Provinces, and one of eight based inViti Levu , Fiji's largest island.Geography and infrastructure
Naitasiri as a province covers 1,666 square kilometers, the Province occupies the area to the north and east of (but does not include)
Suva , thecapital . Its population at the lastcensus in1996 was 126,641, making Naitasiri the country's second most populous Province. Its main urban area is the burgeoning town ofNasinu , with a population of some 84,000.Naitasiri Province includes
