Rebecca Hargrave Malamud

Rebecca Hargrave Malamud (aka [http://media.org/webchick.html "webchick"] ) is an American designer and photographer. In 1993, she co-founded her own design and web development firm known as [http://web.archive.org/web/19990429112811/http://www.enviromedia.com/ enviro|media] [http://www.highbeam.com/library/docfree.asp?DOCID=1G1:57527981&ctrlInfo=Round18%3AMode18c%3ADocG%3AResult&ao=] . In 1996, she designed the Internet 1996 World Exposition (website, book and CD-rom) with Carl Malamud, working remotely from her office in Cincinnati, Ohio, with a team of artists, writers, programmers and photographers around the globe. In 1998, she was creative director of Invisible Worlds, where she received four NewMedia INVISION awards. In 2000, she joined the Internet Multicasting Service.

As of 2005, she resides in Sixes, Oregon and creates new work at [http://memory.org/point.b/ Point B Studio] .
