Schibeci began his radio career on community radio stations, as well as being the announcer on the 1995 Australian TV series "Gladiators". he has honed his commentary skills by commentating numerous sports such as swimming, kayaking, rugby league, basketball, kickboxing, soccer, AFL and motor sport. He is married with four children.
