Gadchiroli is a town and a municipal council in Gadchiroli district in the state of Maharashtra, central India.

It is very lush in Monsoon season (July to September) but also prone to flooding.

Geography

Gadchiroli is located at coord|20.10|N|80.0|E|. The main languages spoken are Marathi, Hindi, Bengali, Gondi, Madiya and Telugu. Also it is considered to be beautiful during the monsoon season. It is surrounded by a teak wood forest. People live traditionally here, they celebrate festivals such as Diwali, Dasra, Durgapuja, Kalipuja and Holi etc. The literacy rate is improving as the city grows.
