hand transplant onClint Hallam on September 23, 1998, the first successful double hand transplant shortly thereafter (but not announced until January 14, 2004), and assisting Prof.Bernard Devauchelle perform the first partialface transplant onIsabelle Dinoire on November 27, 2005.ources
