Saundersfoot is a
village in theparish of St. Issells,Pembrokeshire , westWales . It is known as a seaside resort, and along with nearbyTenby is one of the most visited Welsh holiday destinations.The harbour was built in 1829 for the
export ofanthracite coal from the many mines in the area, although coal was exported from the beach for centuries before this. The village grew up to serve the port. The course of thetramway from Bonville Court mine bisects the village and ends at the jetty. The tramway fromAmroth forms the sea front. The industry finally faded away in the early years of the twentieth century, and the village took advantage of the nearbySaundersfoot railway station to attract tourists from eastern Wales and England. Saundersfoot lies in thePembrokeshire Coast National Park and on thePembrokeshire Coast Path .ports and recreation
Saundersfoot has a King George's Field in memorial to King George V.

New Years Day Swim sponsored by local businesses.Local attractions include Heatherton Adventure Park, Tenby Dinosaur Park, Oakwood and Folly Farm.
