With the main objective to demote industrial growth, [MIDC] has'nt fully developed the Gondia Industrial Area and all efforts are being made to make this Indl.Area. Various corporations have started setting up base, ever since plot allotment started. Today, the number of industries operating in the area is only 6, with around under construction. Plots in the Industrial Area Of the 110.87 hectares of land developed 161 plots have been carved out. 97 plots have been allotted to Gondia industrial areas and entrepreneurs, 64 industrial plots are available for allotment.
