Nick Sakai Scene from Three Minute Love AffairBorn Osaka, Japan Occupation Television actor Nick Sakai (born November 6 in Osaka, Japan) is a Japan-born American actor. He has been seen in Third Watch, Guiding Light, As The World Turns, Saturday Night Live, and other shows. Last year, he produced, directed and starred in his own short film, Telling Tales. Currently he is in post production for his second film, Three Minute Love Affair. Also he is in pre-production for an untitled feature for AA Film Lab.
He studied with Suzanne Shepherd (Requiem for a Dream,The Sopranos), Maggie Flanigan at William Esper Studio, James Price and Loyd Williamson.
Most recently (2009) he appeared in Off Broadway production of "The Shanghai Gesture", produced by Mirror Repertory Company, directed by Robert Kalfin, starring Tina Chen and Larry Pine
