"Piel de otoño" is a Mexican telenovela, which was produced by and broadcasted on Televisa in 2004. It was also broadcasted later that year in the United States through Univision and in 2005 in Latin America through the Canal de las Estrellas Latinoamérica. It is a re-make of another Televisa telenovela titled "Cicatrices del alma".

Plot

Ramón, has progressed in his work and achieved an excellent economic position. However, his wife, Lucia, is not happy because Ramón has become materialistic and cruel. Their daughter Liliana, follows her boyfriend to Spain who leaves her after she becomes pregnant.

Lucia has been communicating with a man online for quite some time, who simply signs his name as "wind." After her hellish life at home went to the point of no return, Lucia escapes from home and goes to Spain after her best friend Triana dies. She meets a man named Santiago and eventually falls in love with him. However, they eventually realize that they have been communicating online all that time.

Lucia eventually returns to Mexico. She divorces her cruel husband, gains the respect of her children, and even starts her own business. Santiago decides to follow her to Mexico, but will Ramon be an albatross in their romance? Or will Santiago and Lucia's love prevail?
